Islam is not a religion

I mean.. not a ritual religion,

It's a COMPLETE WAY OF LIFE.

People around developed their so-called ISLAMOPHOBIA. Thinking that Islam is a religion full of oppression. Too much of do's and dont's.. Cannot do this and cannot do that.. Muslims cannot eat a lot of things??

"Forbidden to you (for food) are : dead meat, blood, the flesh of swine, and that on which has been invoked the name of other than God; that which has been killed by strangling, or by a violent blow, or by a headlong fall, or by being gored to death; that which has been (partly eaten by a wild animal; unless you are able to slaughter it (in due form); that which is sacrificed on stone (altars); (forbidden) also is the division (of meat) by raffling with arrows: that is impiety. This day have those who reject Faith given up all hope of your religion; yet fear them not but fear Me. This day have I perfected your feligion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion. But if any is forced by hunger, with no inclination to transgression, God is indeed Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

(Al-Quran, 5:3)

Somehow, if one really open their heart and mind, willing to learn. They'll find the true GUIDANCE in this religion. A guidance for mankind from The One Creator...

Abu Ya` la Shaddad ibn Aws (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said

"Verily, Allah has enjoined excellence (ihsan) with regard to everything. So, when you kill, kill in a good way; when you slaughter, slaughter in a good way; so everyone of you should sharpen his knife, and let the slaughtered animal die comfortably.”

Narrated by Muslim

Anyway since eiduladha is approaching, I'd like to share something related to slaughtering animals in Islam. Enjoy reading!

The Miracle of Slaughtering in Islam

This is a question-answer session with a medical practitioner on the benefits of the Islamic method of slaughtering animals.-

Question: Dr. John, if the veins that are in the front part of the neck ofthe animal are cut, what would happen to that animal?-

Dr. John: Scientifically speaking, when an animal or human has his veinsthat are found in the front part of the neck cut, he will faint immediately. To clarify, he said that if someone was strangled, he would suffer extremedizziness and lack of concentration because it is difficult for the blood toreach the brain, and if the duration of strangling was longer, he will losesensation and faint.-

Question: So, cutting the veins that are in the front part of the neck ofthe slaughtered animal and letting the blood flow outside its body leads tounconsciousness?-

Dr. John: Yes, definitely.-

Question: Does the slaughtered animal feel any pain immediately afterhaving its neck cut?-

Dr. John: Of course not, as it is totally unconscious.-

Question: Then, why does the animal do such spasmodic movements that givethe feeling that it is in pain?-

Dr. John: This is because when the veins are cut without breaking thebones of the slaughtered animal’s neck, which is exactly the case in theIslamic way of slaughtering, the brain does not receive blood while thecerebrum is still alive and the neurological system that is at the back partof the neck is still linked to all the systems of the body. Thus, theneurological system sends signals to the heart, the muscles, the intestinesand all the cells of the body to send blood to the cerebrum. This makes allthe cells, intestines and muscles of the body make spasmodic movements topush the blood to the heart which sends the blood to the brain. However, theblood leaves the animal’s body instead of going to the brain because theveins of the neck are already cut. The neurological system continues to sendsignals and blood leaves the animal’s body until all the blood flows out.The widespread idea that animals suffer from pain when slaughtered by thismethod was scientifically proven to be wrong as animals faint and totallylose sensation as soon as the veins are cut.-

Question: Medically speaking, is it better to leave the blood inside thebody of the animal or let the blood flow out of the body?-

Dr. John: Blood is one of the most fertile environments where germs growand it also carries substances that are harmful for the human body. So, ifthe blood remained in the meat directly after the death of the animal, itwill be a fertile environment for germs, in addition to the harmfulsubstances that are present in it. -

Question: What do you think of the other ways of slaughtering animalsespecially the way that is used in most European countries which is hittingthe animal on its head so that it would faint, then slaughtering itafterwards?-

Dr. John: This method has dangerous ramifications on the health of humans. This is because the animal dies slowly when it is hit in this method andthis causes the membrane that lines the large intestines to lose its abilityto retain the bacteria that is in the large intestines. Therefore, thebacteria penetrates the body of the animal, finds the blood and swims in itwhile interacting with it until it spreads throughout the entire body of theanimal. The safest way of eating meat that is free from blood and bacteriais by getting rid of the blood of the animal and letting it flow out.

Praise be to Allah for the blessing of Islam
